| Yamazakura, The Cherry Tree in the Hills (山桜) is a 2008 Japanese historical movie starring Rena Tanaka as Isomura Noe and Noriyuki Higashiyama as Tezuka Yoichiro. The film depicts the life of Isomura Noe and Tezuka Yaichiro, a samurai she met under a cherry tree, who turns out to be a former suitor that she had never met named Tezuka Yaichiro, a master swordsman who teaches swordsmanship at a local dojo. | |||||||||||||
