SM Culture & Contents (에스엠컬처앤콘텐츠) is a South Korean advertising, production, travel and talent company under SM Studios, a wholly-owned subsidiary of SM Entertainment. The company operates as a talent agency, television content production company, theatrical production company and travel company. It was founded in July 1987 as Intercontinental Travel Agency. In April 2006, through a merger and acquisition with Volvik, a professional golf ball brand, it changed its name to BT&I. It was aquired by SM Entertainment in April 2012 and changed its name to SM Culture & Contents. In September 2012, SM C&C merged with AM Entertainment. In August 2013, Woollim Entertainment merged with SM Culture & Contents to form "Woollim Label". On March 14, 2013 the company absorbed and merged with Hoon Media. SM C&C announced on March 21, 2016 that it decided to separate its video content business from its music content business and established Woollim Entertainment to handle its music content business, with SM C&C owning all stocks of the company. The partition came into effect on June 8, 2016.
