Description | |
Maggie Cheung (張曼玉) is a Hong Kong former actress and model. She started her career after placing second in 1983's Miss Hong Kong Pageant. She was a semi-finalist in the Miss World pageant the same year. After two years as a TV presenter, it led to a contract with TVB (the television arm of the Shaw Bros. Studio). She made her acting debut in 1984 in the film Prince Charming. Chueng took a break from acting in 2004, returning in 2009 and retired from the profession in 2013. |
