| Elkie Chong (莊錠欣) is a Hong Kong singer and actress. She made her acting debut in 2009 in the TVB television series Born Rich. She is a former member of the Hong Kong project girl-group Honey Bees and the South Korean girl group CLC. In 2016 she signed with Cube Entertainment and was announced as a new member of CLC, alongside Eunbin. She made her debut with the group on February 29, 2016 with the mini album "Refresh". Elkie made her solo debut on November 23, 2018 with her first digital single "I Dream". On December 25, 2020, it was reported that Elkie has submitted a request to terminate her contract with Cube Entertainment. On February 3, 2021, Cube Entertainment announced Elkie's departure from the agency and CLC following the termination of her contract in a mutual agreement between both parties. Following her departure from Cube Entertainment, Elkie established her own studio for activities in Mainland China. In October 2023, Elkie was revealed as a contestant on the Taiwanese reality survival show Show up girls. |
