| Chu So-jung (추소정), better known by her stage name EXY, is a South Korean rapper, singer, songwriter, and actress. She is a member of the girl group WJSN and of its sub-unit WJSN THE BLACK and a former member of the project group Y TEEN, the project group Cotton Candy as El (엘) and the pre-debut girl group VIVA GIRLS as Sojung (소정). In 2011 she became a member of VIVA GIRLS under Media Line Entertainment, but the agency went bankrupt in 2012 before they could debut. In 2015 she signed with Starship Entertainment and was a contestant on Unpretty Rapstar 2. She made her debut with WJSN on February 25, 2016. On August 6, 2016 she debuted as a member of the project group Y TEEN. On May 12, 2021, she debuted as a member of WJSN's second sub-unit, WJSN THE BLACK. In 2022 she was a contestant on the JTBC all-female competition program The Second World. |
